So word on the street is that Kelly Roland is back. Well… again. I welcome this songstress back to the US mainland. After a small UK stint Miss Kelly is gearing up for her US release on Universal Motown. She is reportedly in the studio working on the final touches ( I know for a fact she is) but one of the songs to lace the album is the Ne-Yo penned “Halo” (working title) produced by Stargate ( wassup fam… shout to Water Music). The song is an up-tempo joint from Ne-Yo done about 4 months ago. They are currently mixing now.
The song is in the dance lane as we have recently heard from Kelly. To keep the trend going she will be working with other hit makers: David Guetta, Cutfather, Jim Jonsin, Claude Kelly and Nate “Danja” Hills. Kim let me know if you are jumping on this one, Omar get at me I have some stuff for Kelly too. We need a meeting.

Sorry guys for being a little late with this one. It has been a busy week. Enjoy the weekly tech news. All things techie is here folks. As a special bonus a look at “Tron” the movie. Now I was going to feature the trailer but I want to wait on it because I am not sure if it has enough hot sauce for me. lol.
Directed by Jonas Akerlund (the fabulous “Paparazzi”), the video picks up where “Paparazzi” left off, with Gaga entering a Los Angeles prison to serve time for her crimes. What follows is hyper-stylized whirlwind of lust, death, and product placement. With roughly 47 costume changes.
We have the full length video. The over-the-top video is explicit in every sense of the word — violent, colorful, slightly disturbing, and it even includes some barely-censored nudity. It’s bizarre. It’s crazy. It’s hot!!

I think one industry that could benefit from this business model is the music industry. Although I could never see them doing it, think about it. What if an artist allow fans to submit songs and an entire project was submission based. Forget about the big writers and go grassroots. Social networking would be turned on it ear. Fans will become fans of fans. Wow… this idea is groundbreaking. Glad I thought of it… labels if you want the full plan, contact me. lol. Business done well… is business that always wins.

What many don’t get it this guy was on the top and still climbing higher in the music industry when his life (by his own doing… but I still want to know the Rihanna involvement, he was wrong…but she has some blame) got turned upside down.

Now in the post he states, “I can’t be an underground mixtape artist”. Damn rite bro… you can’t. But if you want to avoid that outcome, make better songs. Seriously, from day one, the timing was wrong for the album release. Numero dos, the songs on the album were not great… given you had “Tranform You” but wrong song single release at that time. The album has not heat. The project was/is an A&R mistake. Granted I think the media has been to harsh on Chris Brown, the kid deserve a chance to be great, not because he is Chris Brown, but because he did he bid and he has the talent. I hope he can move past the Graffiti album and Jive backs him on another release. Chris Brown could be great… I think we should support the potential. Do you agree or disagree, speak on it.

There are practically two sets of popular reality shows taking place in Miami. “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami” has begun filming in the warm city, and so will “Jersey Shore“. The Miami Herald reported that the deal is done to do the second season in Miami despite protests from the locals.
Over the past few weeks and since New Jersey is no longer an option to have the cast stripping to their skimpy clothes, the show’s team has been scouting location in Miami. Mynt Lounge near the Mynt Beach was told to clear up their area between March and April. However, owner Romain Zago is against the idea, saying “Miami Beach takes pride in the years it took to establish an upscale tourist attraction, and bringing this show to town would lessen that image. Any club or establishment that participates can and should be held liable for such mischievous behavior.”
The production is expected to be kicked off March 20 but the cast have not been notified with the new location. “The show told the cast to be ready for shooting on March 20 but still won’t tell any of them where it will be shooting,” a source told Radar Online. “They are gearing up to begin the show but first the cast needs to get blood work done and background checks.”
