Privacy Policy

What we collect when you use this site or contact us, and how we use it.

Last updated 20 September 2026

Who we are

This policy describes how Byteright Technologies Private Limited (“Byteright”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use the-bytes.com (the “Site”) or contact us. We are a technology and software engineering company with our registered office at 1003, POIRA, Bicholim, North Goa, India.

For questions about this policy or your data, write to support@the-bytes.com or call +91-7978901253.

What we collect

If you submit the contact form, we collect the details you provide: name, company, work email, phone number (optional), what you are looking to build, project stage, estimated timeline, and your message.

When you send that form, our servers may also record technical information needed to operate the Site and to limit abuse — for example an IP address, timestamp and standard request headers. We do not run advertising pixels or third-party analytics on the Site.

You can also email support@the-bytes.com directly. In that case we hold whatever you choose to send us in that correspondence.

How we use it

We use contact details to understand the enquiry, reply to you, and — if we work together — to continue that conversation. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use contact-form submissions for advertising.

We process this information because you asked us to respond (your request, and where applicable your consent) and because we have a legitimate interest in operating a professional website, preventing spam and keeping records of business enquiries.

Who we share it with

Messages submitted through the Site are delivered by a transactional email provider acting on our instructions, so that we can receive your enquiry and send a copy to the address you provided. We do not share enquiry data with other third parties except where the law requires it, or where a professional adviser needs it to help us respond.

If we later enter a delivery contract with you, that work is governed by the agreement we sign — not by this website policy alone.

Retention

We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to complete the conversation, meet accounting or legal duties, or resolve a dispute — and then we delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete an enquiry that did not become a contract; we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Security

We use HTTPS on the Site, limit who can access enquiry mail, and rate-limit the contact form to reduce abuse. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please do not send passwords, payment card numbers or health records through the form.

Cookies

The Site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may store strictly technical data required to load pages. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, or to withdraw consent for a contact enquiry. Send the request to the email above. We may need to verify that the request comes from you.

If you are in the EEA or UK and contact us from there, you may also have rights under local data-protection law. We will handle those requests in line with the rules that apply.

Children

The Site is intended for professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top is the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you have seen the updated policy.
